Creative Partnership (CPG)
Otsego County Head Start: This project with the Farmer’s Museum, cultivates an understanding for pre-K student of rural heritage that has shaped the land and the culture of our area
Cooperstown Middle School: Accomplished artist Charlie Bremer works with teachers Amy Parr, Diana Garcia, Eileen Murphy, Bruce Clinton and Marcie Schwartzman to engage the students in the project “Creating New Pathways”.
Unadilla Elementary School: Art teacher Phyllis Blincoe collaborates with fellow teacher Elaine Reed, Jamie Rowe, and Sara Garno to expose the 3rd grade students to World Culture through artist Tara Hu’s “An exploration of Asian art and Culture”.
Riverside Elementary School: Master teaching artist Mary Knish teams up with kindergarten teacher Ken Sider to bring “The Soul of Life: Celebrating Rhythm and the World”.
Hancock Central School: Professional artist Bertha Rogers, along with teachers Brenda Vincentz, Carmella Bullick and Mary Norris, take the students on a trip back in time to create Illuminated Manuscripts.
Morris Central School: Professional teaching artist Bonnie Gale accompanied by Jill Accordino, Kathy Bechtold, Diane Walling, Michelle Pepe and Niki Miller, bring environmental science and art together building a living willow sculpture in the shape a mustang, the school mascot.
The Creative Partnership Grant provides funding to enhance the arts in public schools and non-profit cultural organizations in Otsego and Delaware County. Funding is used to pay artists to present artistic, interactive workshops to students in pre-k through 12, helping them achieve New York State standards in all disciplines through a well-developed arts program. Individual programs can receive up to $3000 in grant funding. This program is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).

The Decentralization Grant program supports high quality, community-based arts and cultural activities throughout Otsego County. Not-for-profit organizations and municipalities may apply to receive up to $5000 in funding. Individual artists may apply as well, if collaborating with an organization or municipality. This grant is funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).

Strategic Opportunity Stipend (SOS)
The Special Opportunity Stipend helps individual artists in all disciplines take advantage of unique opportunities that significantly benefit their work or career development. Literary, media, visual, music and theater artists may request support ranging from $100 to $600 for specific, forthcoming opportunities that are distinct from work in progress. This grant is funded by the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA).
