Exhibition & Reception Schedule
The Galleries at Wilber Mansion feature distinctive artwork from our diverse community and beyond.  The Arts Council represents internationally acclaimed artists, as well as local legends and emerging artists.  The Galleries exhibit artwork for all aesthetic tastes from traditional landscapes to abstract expressionism.  Receptions are sponsored, in part by Brewery Ommegang and are free and open to the public.

Vincent Devine has the soul of a sculptor.
His love of clay was discovered many years ago when he took a class at Hartwick with Elizabeth Nields. This love of clay persisted and when Vincent began working at The Main View Gallery & Studio in 2007 he expressed interest taking a workshop with Elizabeth. A month later he was at her studio creating the first of his large sculptures.


Vincent has continued to work with Elizabeth at her studio in Otego for the last three years to create this body of work entitled “Family of Dragons.”

 

 

David Mackenzie has been painting for thirty years exploring structure, image and the object.  His goal has been to liberate his paintings from notions of pictorial representation and content in order to arrive at a new kind of painting.
